Made-to-measure service: for me, this is clearly HK's strength!
- What are you looking for in a carrier?
We deliver full truckloads to central purchasing agencies: around 30,000 trucks a year. HK is one of fifty or so carriers in the country to deliver these orders. What we look for in a carrier is, of course, competitive rates, but above all, quality of service. This is very important to us, especially when it comes to delivery times. If our goods aren't delivered on time, our lorry is refused, and we have to pay substantial penalties. So it's essential that the carrier respects the specifications we impose on him, and that he comes to us as soon as a problem arises!
- Why did you choose HK?
For me, HK is one of the top carriers. Recently, we also asked for a special delivery. Just before the truck showed up, we got a call from HK who made sure to let us know that the truck was on its way. The service was tailor-made. The mission was really well managed. Since then, we've preferred HK for special operations!
- What would HK's "plus" be?
In the transport world, tracking is not necessarily systematic, and there's still a strong oral culture. Yet traceability is an important guarantee. This is also one of the reasons why we tend to use transporters like HK; it generally has an impact on the quality of service: proximity, a privileged contact, follow-up, a single point of contact whom we know and who knows us, all this is very much appreciated. For me, the customized service aspect is clearly HK's strength!
