- What type of transport do you use HK for?
Initially, whenever we had a logistical problem with parts we needed immediately for production: one call, and half an hour later, an HK truck was on its way. After proving itself in terms of speed and reliability for spare parts, HK offered to transport our vehicles. At first, we were rather surprised: there's quite a difference between transporting wooden crates and transporting a vehicle sometimes worth over two million euros!
- What did HK offer you?
They offered us a service that was really tailored to Bugatti: they came to see us to determine our needs, complied with the standards and norms required, and had a trailer custom-built for our Bugatti model: a trailer used exclusively for us. As the vehicle weighed two tons, they also offered us a special towing vehicle, adapted to the regulations. Next, we trained a first driver, then a second, on our car: all the maneuvers HK has to perform in front of a customer.
- Are you satisfied with the way your cars are transported?
The most important point for us is HK's flexibility and responsiveness: as part of our after-sales service to customers, we are committed to reacting very quickly. This is one of the reasons why HK has provided us with two drivers, who are able to take turns on long-distance destinations, thus avoiding breaks: with vehicles of this value, we take less risk in making the trip in one go. The drivers are very professional: they respect the confidentiality of the goods. They are in direct contact with our customers, who are very demanding people. The feedback we get is very good!
- Is the merchandise insured?
HK offers an insurance policy that agrees to insure every vehicle transport: an all-risk policy that we transfer to our customer. If the customer is covered and doesn't need it, he saves that cost; if he takes out the insurance, the vehicle is insured at replacement value.
